WordPress 0.5.0RC is released

I released WordPress 0.5.0RC3 as new WordPress for XOOPS moudule.

Install

• Download file and unzip under module directory.
• Install with XOOPS module installer.
• If you are using WordPress 0.3.3 or prior, you should use XOOPS module updater.

Caution

If you want co-exist WordPress 0.3.x and 0.5.x, there are some limitations.
1. You cant display Both versions XOOPS blocks in a same XOOPS page.
2. If you want use 0.3.x modules under wordpress0 - wordpress9 directory, wordpress directory should be used with 0.3.x

1.More Secure!

• Ticket system based on GIJOE's Gticket classs are applied at most of admin function.

• Add some feature to disallow comment spams and trackback spams
  • Add option "Posting Comment with preview screen.".
    • On this confirmation screen, ticket system is used for protecting spams.
    • You can enable this option(use_comment_preview) at WordPress [Options]-[General blog settings] screen.

• Spam protection plugin based on WPBlaskList2.9.1 is included as standard plugin.

• Add option "Deny Trackback whose site does not contain any link to my site."
  • You can enable this option(check_trackback_content) at WordPress [Options]-[General blog settings] screen.

• You can rename trackback file name(default is wp-trackback.php)
  • So you can protect from simple trackback spaming.

2. Added feature

• You can integrate XOOPS Comment System instead of using WordPress Comment.(Optional)

• Using new SPAW Editor supporting gecko browser like FireFox.

• Duplicatable V2.1 like GIJOE's TinyD

• Permalink without using mod_rewrite
  • If you specify Permalink pattern like
    /index.php/archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%post_id%/
    you can use permalink without Apache mod_rewite.
    

3.Other change

Under construction

• ほぼ全面的なコードの書き直し
  • global変数の使用部分の整理
    • 元々のWodPressは単体システムのため、global変数を多用しても副作用はあまり無いが、
      XOOPSのモジュールとして動作するには他のモジュールとの共存も前提になる。
      但し、WordPressのプラグインとの互換性確保を行うために、まだかなり未整理状態。

• データベースアクセス関連のクラス化
  データベース関連のアクセスに関しては、XoopsDatabaseクラス経由に移行
  但し、既存のプラグインなどとの互換性確保のために、wpdbクラスも残しているが、
  コネクションは$xoopsDBのコネクションを共用し、コネクション数を増やさない様に修正。

• 管理画面に関しては、Smartyテンプレート及び、XoopsFormを使用して描画部分を書き直しました。

• エラーメッセージの表示方法をXOOPSでの表示方法にほぼ統一しました。

• WordPress固有で管理しているユーザ除法とXOOPSのユーザの同期性を向上しました。

• GIJOE氏のTinyD等のモジュールとSPAWエディタを共用出来るように
  • /modules/wordpresss/wp-admin/spawフォルダを/common/下に移動すれば、
    /modules/wordpresss/wp-admin/spawが存在しない場合には、/common/spaw下を参照。
  • TinyDでもnobunobu版のSPAWを使用できるようになるが、TinyDでブラウザチェックを
    行っている部分があり、この部分を修正しないと、FireFox等では使用できません。
