昨日、jp.xoops.orgの本家連絡帳で、CatzwolfさんがXoopsの開発から手を引くという記事を見た。

YYBBSの作者のサンデーラボラトリーのBlogでもこの事にふれられていたんだけど・・・
小生なりにCatzwolfさんのメッセージを読んで（といってもjp.xoops.orgの邦訳だけど）感じた事は、XOOPSのコアメンバーはCMSのフレームワークとしての完成度を増そうとしていたのだけど、有る面XOOPSとPHPの組合せによる手軽さからXOOPSのフレームワークの意図とは違う形で、モジュールが増殖してきた、その結果としてアプリケーションからのフィードバックによってコアが進化して、コアの進化によってアプリケーションが洗練されていくという、前向きなスパイラルがこれ以上期待できない・・・という事がCatzwolfさんにとっては、許せない事だと感じられたのかもしれないと思った。

という事は、小生のWordPressモジュールもこの安直モジュールの典型で有りXOOPSの普及の助けにはなっても進化には寄与していない事になるなぁ～ :cry:
